Available Kitties:
Goose- approx 11 years
Goose came to us with a group of other FIV+ kitties almost three years ago. Don’t let his age fool you though, this guy still thinks he’s a kitten. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and can be seen running around the cafe! After he gets that energy out, he does love to settle down and snuggle up for some chin scratches. He’s not a huge fan of other kitties but doesn’t seem to mind them as long as them give him his space. He’s a handsome good boy who’s really sweet once you get to know him! He is toothless, and FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a full and happy life (you can read more about FIV here). Adoption Fee: $80 |
Gretchen - approx 15 years (with foster)
Gretchen is a beautiful senior lady, fun and with a sassy side! She prefers things to be on her terms and you will then be rewarded with her affection. Some call this “Tortie-tude”! But, after 15 yrs she just knows what she likes and what she wants. Nothing wrong with that! She will blossom in an environment that is quiet & stress free, has adults or respectful older children, and allows for window watching & lounging. A gentle approach and allowing her to bond on her own timing is key. She will thrive in a home setting with a patient and loving human as an only kitty. Will this human be you?! She eats special sensitive tummy food and takes a daily supplement - so she's living with a foster but if you're interested in meeting this sweet lady - contact us MEOW! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Ol' Gretch! |
Hamilton Babies - approx 2 years
Eliza (B/W, black nose), Peggy (B/W), Lawrence (orange/white, BE RIGHT BACK), (and Lafayette (ADOPTED) and Aaron Purr (ADOPTED)) are some friends from another rescue (they were all rescued from the same area). They are still learning to trust us humans, but have already come a long way! Lawrence loves to play, and the girls, Eliza and Peggy, are always snuggling up together! Any of these guys would do well in a quiet home where they can learn to trust and let their purrsonalities truly blossom! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Daddy Blackberry - approx 2 years
It was by complete coincidence that Daddy Blackberry (short hair) and Figaro (ADOPTED) ended up in the same foster home at the same time - but these guys became BEST buds! Daddy was terrified when he first came to us, he didn't move much, and he didn't really like getting pet... but when Figaro came along, Daddy decided he wanted to be friends and his confidence grew 10 fold! Now Daddy loves to cuddle and get pets too! Blackberry just needs kitty friends and a quiet home to give him the confidence to be the housecat he can be! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Betty Bean - approx 2 years
The Folklore Babies— James Bean (ADOPTED), Betty (black, F) and August (black/white, F, ADOPTED) —came to us when the family who had been feeding their mama caught James thinking their mama had been hit by a car. We offered to help trap his sisters, and the first cat we trapped was their mama! The whole family is very shy and has been with their foster mama for months adjusting to life inside with humans. Jamesy is the most social of the kittens—he wants to be brave so bad, and picks up on the behaviors of the cats around him. He is the BIGGEST mama’s boy ever (seriously), and he loves to chew on a good cardboard box! August is a bit more shy but LOVES a good churu and likes to talk with her foster mama when she’s in a good mood. Betty is the spiciest bean, but she loves her family and has gotten more brave as she got more comfortable. They would love to find a calm, patient forever home with other kitty friends! Adoption Fee: $80 each |
Jared - approx 1 year
The Supernaturals, Jared, Jensen (adopted) and Misha (adopted), came to us as small, scared kittens. With help from their foster mamas and some of their foster friends, they’re now outgoing and love human attention! Jared is a gentle giant who came to us as a shy baby just over a year ago with his siblings, Jensen and Misha. This sweet boy has really blossomed at the cafe! He still keeps to himself a lot, napping under blankets on the couch until he decides he wants attention, but when he emerges he is all about belly rubs and being an elevator butt. He’s extremely good with other cats, even letting rambunctious kittens play with him like a toy through the blanket while he naps, and would likely do well with older kids and calm dogs. Adoption Fee: $100 |
Ruby - approx 1 year
The Deck Babies were named because after their mama (Treasure) was found in a window well, she grabbed one of her babies and ran and hid under the neighbor's deck! It took ALL day to get them out, but we got mama and all her babies back together again. Ruby and her siblings, Opal (ADOPTED), Sapphire (ADOPTED), Citrine (ADOPTED), and Onyx (ADOPTED) are all babies of mama Treasure! They are all super sweet kittens, though they might take a little time to warm up to new people. She would love to be adopted into a home with a friendly cat, or one of her kitten friends! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Mama Flyer - approx 2 years
Mama Flyer came to us when a previous adopter found her in their flower box after she had kittens. She was the best mama to her sweet babies (the Land Before Time kittens) and is the sweetest girl herself. She is still a bit shy but has been slowly coming out of her shell with her foster mama and really loves a good butt scratch. She seems unbothered by other cats and would do good in a quiet home with someone that will give her time and patience to bloom. Adoption Fee: $80 |
A-A-Ron - approx 1 year
A-A-Ron was rescued from a parking lot as a young kitten after a canned food snack and lots of coaxing. He has always been a shy boy but in a small setting he loves all the attention and scratches. He would probably do best in a quieter home with a buddy where he can feel comfortable and have a friend to cuddle with! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Puck - approx 8 years (with foster)
Puck was an outdoor stray feed by a nice couple for several months until they feared he medically needed more care. He had a skin infection and an abscessed tooth when we got him to the vet. After his skin improved and the infection in his mouth was better he had a dental. He's a very nice older boy. He's still acclimating with the other animals in foster but with enough time he should do fine in most homes. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Puck! |
The 7 Dwarves! - approx 1 year
The dwarfs are a sweet bunch that were found with their Mama (Snow White, ADOPTED) by a creek in Vicksburg when some nice people were fishing. Doc (Grey/white nose, M), Happy (brown tabby/white, M), Sneezy (ADOPTED), Sleepy (ADOPTED), Grumpy (ADOPTED), Dopey (grey/white F- BE RIGHT BACK!) and Bashful (grey/white F) are all silly, active, sweet kitties who would love a home with a kitty friend! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
the Citrus boys - approx 1 year
Yuzu (ADOPTED) is good boy, although a little shy. He's a great play buddy but likes to be the dominant one. He also gets along well with small dogs. Lemon (orange/white, M) is the shyest boy of litter. He likes slow pets and loves to play, and he would do best in a quiet, calmer home with a patient person/family. Tangelo (orange tabby, M) has been with his foster human a long time because he was being treated for FIP (you can read about FIP HERE) and was luckily cured right before Christmas. He's had a long road and is very shy but is feeling much better and can't wait to meet kitty and human friends at the cafe! Adoption Fee: $100 each |
Rodger Mac - approx 12 years (with foster)
Rodger Mac was found trapped under someone's home and unable to walk. We got him straight to the vet and he stayed for a few days so we could assess what was going on with him. We thought he was paralyzed, and weren't sure how his quality of life would be, but after a while in his foster home, he began to try and get up and walk around! He's still a little wobbly - but can get around just fine now, it's amazing! Rodger Mac can only eat pate soft food due to some regurgitation issues, and he is on a daily medication for hyperthyroidism, but he's such a good boy and after his recheck the vet said his levels looked great! Now that we've figured out what's going on with him, he is ready for a special forever home! Apply today to meet this sweet special guy! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Rodger Mac! |
Grandpa T - approx 16 years
Grandpa T (aka Pa T or Gramps) is a sweet senior fellow who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! He likes head scritches and will give you kisses and head butts when he's happy! On occasion, he likes using your shoulders as his own personal cat tree. He can often be found on the top of the cat perch by the desk in the cafe. He has claimed it as his own and is not afraid to tell the other kitties to move out of his spot! He can get overstimulated with too much activity or attention, but he'll tell you when he's had enough. Gramps tolerates other cats at the cafe as long as they give him space, but he would like love to have a home all to himself. He would do best in a quiet home without small children. Gramps is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that doesn't affect his day to day life! Adoption Fee: $80 each |
Caddy & Royce - approx 1 year
The biker babies came to us when a good Samaritan found one of the babies by herself in a parking lot at just a few days old. We went out and got the rest of her family—including mama!—from where their smart mama had hidden them from the elements inside the cover of an unused motorcycle. Tesla (ADOPTED) was the first baby we got and the most independent, if a bit shy. Tes likes a good comfy bed and snuggling with her siblings. Mustang (ADOPTED) is sassy and the more outgoing of the two sisters. Stang is equally happy to snuggle or play depending on what the mood in the foster room is. Bentley (B&W, nose freckle, M, ADOPTED) is the biggest ham. He needs all of the attention all the time, and he’s not the least bit shy asking for it. Cadillac (B&W, M) is the troublemaker of the group. Even when he crawls under the blanket to snuggle, Caddy always wants to chew on toes instead of cuddling calmly. Royce (B&W, M) is the mama’s boy, typically preferring to follow Mama Harley and snuggle with her even when she wants her space! They’d love to find homes with kitty friends to snuggle pile with! Adoption Fee: $100 each |
Hector - approx 4 years
Hector was pulled from the shelter after he tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here). He came to that shelter as an owner release when the person had too many cats. He is as playful as a kitten but also a good napper. After several antibiotics, x-rays and a sinus flush with culture we believe he has chronic rhinitis. Which means he sneezes and routinely has a runny nose. He has also seen a specialist and goes to the vet routinely with us due to his health. Our vet believes due to repeat bloodwork that Hector most likely has lymphoma. We do not know how long Hector will be with us or how much his medical needs will be along the way. He is very loved here at the cafe but it would also be great to see him get a forever home for whatever length of life he's been given. He is a sweet boy. Loves his cat friends of any age, non-dominant and likes the small dogs in his foster. Adoption Fee: $100 |
Lotus- approx 1 year
Dandelion (ADOPTED) and Lotus are sisters who love to play, and they mellow each other out when it's time for cuddles! Lotus has been having a tough time at the cafe lately, so she's hanging out in the office - but feel free to ask our staff if you want to meet her and give her some treats :) She would thrive in her very own forever home, she is super sweet, very affectionate, LOVES treats, and will headbutt anyone who gives her some love in return! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Angel - approx 5 years (with foster)
If you take black and white photos of all your human children, Angel is already ready to go! As a black cat, she's prone to get passed over so I wanted to showcase how majestic this chubby black panther photographs. Angel plays with toys, cuddles, approaches people first, and her first love is food. She was abandoned at a house when her owners moved out, and knew terrors I may never know. She has no interest in ever going outside again, and has a hard time trusting other animals to be in her bubble, but she is ready to be a princess and your family's best friend. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Angel! |
Parker - approx 1 year (with foster)
This is Richard Parker (those of you who have read "The Life of Pi" will understand, if not, read it!) Parker is a super affectionate boy who makes friends hard and fast with other cats, but is also very particular on who deserves to share his space. He tends to sway more towards kittens for friends and is a great "big brother" figure. He is extremely outgoing, friendly and cuddly. He follows his people everywhere, cuddles with them often and has no problem being persistent if he isn't getting what he needs. He's a couple years old and neutered, tested negative, and up for adoption with the help of the Kzoo Cat Cafe (I foster for this phenomenal rescue, but he lives with me!) Parker also plays with toys and has no negative issues other than being a little pushy with some cat friends and he prefers not to be picked up too often(but who does?!) Adoption Fee: $100 |
Ramsay - approx 1 year
Ramsay is a petite shy girl with no teeth! She's been through a lot in her life. She came to us pretty sick as a tiny kitten... Part of her tail was missing and not healed and she limped on a rear leg for quite awhile... She would do well in a quiet environment - she can be very shy. Her foster noticed she likes to bond with mother figure cats, and is fine with small dogs. Her favorite toy...? The floppy fish!! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Tucker - approx 16 years (BE RIGHT BACK!)
Tucker is a sweet older gentleman who loves cuddles and getting attention from him favorite people! Tucker tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect his day to day life! Although, Tucker and his FIV friends do like their daily canned food! His owner passed away so we were contacted to save him and his housemate (Blackjack -who will be ready soon) from euthanasia. Tucker would LOVE to be an only cat, Adoption Fee: $80 |
Marge - approx 1 year
Marge Simpson is a momma to Lisa - They came to us when the finder thought Lisa was very sick. She was actually ok and Marge has been doing a good job of taking good care of her baby, but now she's ready for a home of her own! She can be recognized by her super cute avocado collar. She is super sweet but also not quite a fan of her new kitty friends yet, but loves human pets and will warm up with time. Adoption Fee: $100 |
Mama Chai - approx 3 years
We were contacted by one of our vets when Mama Chai and her baby, Cider were scheduled for euthanasia by their owner because they allegedly "didn't get along" with their other cat. Of course we agreed to take them in, and Mama Chai is nothing but sweet, and couldn't care less about the other kitties around her. She is a little skittish at first, but when she's familiar with you and you move slow, she loves getting pet, and will headbutt you and love on you. She loves looking out the window, and playing with string toys, and would love a chill, safe, forever home of her own. Adoption Fee: $80/$150 |
Oogie Boogie - approx 5 months (COMING SOON)
Oogie Boogie from the Nightmare before Christmas group is growing as fast as he is sweet. He's a soft spoken guy that needs a little convincing to come out of his corner, but never minds a good snuggle once he trusts his people. He absolutely loves all kitty friends and currently lives with large dogs. At this point in his journey, he would likely thrive best in a home with only older children, and plenty of laps to snuggle on! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Sir Reginald - approx 4 years
Sir Reginald is a regal sweet stray boy who was found by a good samaritan and brought to the rescue. He is very laid back, and very fancy - he always lays with one front leg out! He is super sweet, very affectionate, and loves to cuddle. Reg tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect his day to day life! He would love a calmer forever home where he can be his snuggly self! Adoption Fee: $80 |
The Shy Guys (TM) - approx 1 year
Icebox (calico F), Boombox (orange tabby M), Chum (black and white F) and Nile (black M) are our shy guys that have all been spending time with a foster socializing and learning to trust humans. They have all come super far with their foster but still maybe extra shy until they get comfortable in their surroundings. Ice loves butt scratches and can be a little bit on the sassy side with new kitties. Her brother Boom is really a social butterfly when it comes to other cats and has recently started loving to snuggle in bed with his foster mama. Chum is a sweet petite little girl. She is pretty social with other cats and is very food motivated which her foster mom used to bring her out of her shell. Nile is the shyest of the shy guys still. He was found stranded on a cement slab in the canal of the Kalamazoo River. Slow and steady is the best way to approach him. He isn’t a big fan of top head scratches but will melt for some chins scratches. These guys would all do great in any house that would give them the time and patience to come out of their shells and show their true personalities. Adoption Fee: $100 each |
Shed Babies - approx 8 months
Cowabunga (ADOPTED), Drat (ADOPTED), Blimey (long hair, black and white M), Gadzooks (long hair, black M, COMING SOON!) were found in a garden shed with their feral mama and were raised together in a foster home. Blimey is pretty shy around people, and likes his environment calm and quiet - he's a cat's cat and gets along with small dogs. Gadzooks (COMING SOON) is shy too, but does great with all the other cats and small dogs in the home. They would all love homes where they'll have friends, attention and can come out of their shells! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Billie - approx 2 years (COMING SOON)
If you're looking for the PURRfect office assistant... Billie is your girl! This sweet girl loves to play, loves headbutts, and is super affectionate - but does not really love other kitties.... She would do best in a home on her own! Billy was found outside fending for herself, and can still be a little feisty at times, but she loves to play with her mousey toys and "help" with the office work. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Billie! |
Baby Lance - approx 3 years
Baby Lance came to us after he broke his jaw... His owner doesn't know how it happened but was unable to take care of his vet needs at the time, so he decided it was in his best interest to bring Lance to us. Our vet put a pin in his jaw and it healed beautifully! He's lived in a home with dogs, cats and children. He is a bit shy at first, he seems to be easily bullied by pushy cats, but is a love bug once he feels comfortable. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Blackjack - approx 13 years (COMING SOON!)
Blackjack came to us with his brother Tucker after their owner passed away. He was used to a quieter home. Blackjack is a nice guy but initially may be uncomfortable with his surroundings. He needs a patient, quiet home that let's him settle in and take his time. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Blackjack! |
Blep - approx 6 years
Blep gets his name for obvious reasons. This handsome boy came to us through a local shelter when he tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect his day to day life! He is so incredibly kind and loving. He gets along great with all the other animals in his foster home. He would love his very own emotional support person. He's the one that needs the support. If you work from home he will definitely have his paws on your arm while you type (not required of course). Adoption Fee: $80 |
Cider - approx 7 months
Cider (orange tabby/white F) is a shy girl who really wants to be brave! She came to us from another rescue with her mama (Chai) and while Chai is very trusting, Cider is still warming up to people. She’s curious and is always watching the other kittens to see what’s safe and fun to do. With the right patient person, she’ll come right out of her shell and thrive! She did well with her kitten friends in foster, and would do well in a quiet home with a social kitty companion to help her ever-growing confidence! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Hunger Games Babies - approx 8 months
Thread (black) is a snuggly boy who loves to get into mischief. He loves to put himself into your arms like a baby and purr. He can also get overexcited and bite while he does this, which he will hopefully outgrow with some work. He would love to be your assistant around the house and would love someplace high to watch from when he's not right in the action. He would do best in a home that feels comfortable working with him while he slowly catches on to all the human rules. Mason (black and white) is partially blind, but that doesn't slow her down. She loves to attack unsuspecting blankets, wrestle with other cats, and aggressively snuggle humans in the face. Beware, all those cute cuddles come at the price of a powerful snore that can wake some humans. Mason feels most secure when she is around other cats and will need at least one other cat around her age to be her safety buddy in her new home. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Mama Queenie's Babies - approx 7 months
Newt (buff orange/white, ADOPTED), Jacob (buff, ADOPTED), Tina (calico, F), Leta (dilute tortie, F), and Credence (b/w, M) are Mama Queenie's babies! They were found with their mama outside a family's home, who contacted us when they saw one of the babies (Newt!) had a botfly larvae on them. We were able to take them in and get him treated and they've grown up in foster since. These five are sweet, silly, and full of kitten energy! They take some time to warm up to new people and situations, but once they're comfortable they're very chatty and will let you know they want loves and to play! They like string toys and little toys they can chase around, and the boys like to climb up and sit on their foster mom's shoulders. When they've tired themselves out they'll lay in a big pile together on a comfy bed or maybe even on your lap! They would love to be adopted with a sibling, friend, or into a home with another young cat they can play and snuggle with! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |

Charmy - approx 9 months (COMING SOON)
Charmy is a stunning calico lady that has proven herself a saint in her foster home. When her foster home ended up with two tiny kittens that desperately needed someone to bathe them and snuggle them, while teaching them all the manners of a well-to-do kitty, Charmy leapt at the opportunity and has made a reputation for herself as "Mama" to all of the kittens in her foster home. She babysits them, protects them (she'll put a bully right in their place!) and just overall adores them. She would do absolutely fine in nearly any home but would not have any complaints about living with other younger cats/kittens or even just less confident cats. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Seymour - approx 11 months (COMING SOON)
Seymour (also from the little shop of horrors) is just as sweet, swell, and unfortunately knows just as much of Skid Row. He's just about 1 year old, and was never given adequate care as a tiny guy, and his third eyelids have attached to his eyes. It will likely not cause him any major issues but he may need eye drops later in life to keep him comfortable. Seymour absolutely loves his younger kitten friends and seems like he's not looking back at all, only forward. He loves to play and cuddle but can be a little shy at first. He gets along with absolutely everyone he meets and is a really easygoing, happy guy that would do well in most homes! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Audrey - approx 5 years (COMING SOON)
"All I ever wanted was you....and a sweet little house." - Audrey Audrey is named after the main character in the Little Shop of Horrors (Please note, she's not Audrey II, she's the original so no homicidal tendencies!) Audrey is an incredibly sweet girl that made the best of the situation she was handed being forced to live outside, and dodge cars, and fend for herself for food. But she's not holding a single grudge and genuinely would be happy to just have a lap to snuggle on and someone that would adore her as much as she adores people. She does fine with large dogs and other cats, but generally doesn't interact with other animals, and just keeps to herself outside of her humans! She'd be fine in nearly any home. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Chili - approx 5 years (COMING SOON)
Chili is a swell guy that's a little more "chill" than he is spicy. He absolutely loves to sleep on your lap, and snuggle in bed. He plays well with other cats, and has experience with large dogs but greatly prefers other cats that don't bully him, and lower energy dogs. He tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect him at this point, and he doesn't start a single issue in his foster home. His only issue to this point is that he is easily intimidated by other bossy cats! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Shock - approx 8 months (COMING SOON)
Shock is a gorgeous 8 month old lady who has a knack for going with the flow. She got all the looks and a bit less of the sass than her littermates, but she's just as sweet as they come! She can be a little shy at times, but she absolutely loves attention, can be quite talkative, and is as long and lanky as she is silky soft. She's had experience with numerous other foster cats, and large dogs in her foster home, as well as kitten siblings. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Jewel - approx 8 months (COMING SOON)
Jewel is an adorable baby of 8 months old with a tiny face and an even tinier "meow". She came from a less than ideal situation with a number of other cats, but she's only looking up from here! She's a sweet, meek girl who adores snuggles and pets but would prefer life to move at a slightly slower pace. She could learn to be outgoing with more confidence, but we believe she'd do best with a calmer household to help her get there! She has no bad habits and has lived with numerous other foster cats and large dogs, so she's in a perfect situation for her own home, people, and/or permanent fur-siblings. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Amity - approx 7 years (COMING SOON)
Amity is a very sweet, affectionate girl, who has unfortunately due to NO fault of her own, been returned to the rescue. She tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect her day to day life at all! She is a cuddle bug, and LOVES her favorite cave bed. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Amity! |
