Available Kitties:
|
Mosey Mama - approx 2 years
Mosey Mama came to our rescue as a pregnant mama about almost two years ago. In her time with the rescue, she has really come a long way! Although she is still a sassy and independent kitty, she has learned that humans are alright after all. She LOVES treats and will wait patiently for you to give her some if she knows you have them. She also loves to drink from the sink faucet! She’s not a lap cat; but if she trusts you, she loves a good head scratch and sometimes will even jump on your shoulder to hang out! She’s not usually a trouble maker, but prefers that the other kitties in the cafe give her space. You can usually find her at the cafe hanging out on top of the cat tree by the entrance. We know the right family is out there for this independent mama! Adoption Fee: $80 |
|
Goose- approx 9 years
Goose came to us with a group of other FIV+ kitties almost a year and a half ago. Don’t let his age fool you though, this guy still thinks he’s a kitten. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and can be seen running around the cafe! After he gets that energy out, he does love to settle down and snuggle up for some chin scratches. He’s not a huge fan of other kitties but doesn’t seem to mind them as long as them give him his space. He’s a handsome good boy who’s really sweet once you get to know him! He is toothless, and FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a full and happy life (you can read more about FIV here). Adoption Fee: $80 |
|
Yeti - approx 1 year (with foster)
Yeti Belly was originally brought in as a TNR cat, but he seemed too sweet to release back outside! He has had a long adjustment period and is still very shy around humans. He used to spend a lot of his time hiding, but he’s slowly warming up to his foster mama and letting his personality show. Treats, wand toys, and persistence are the key to winning Yeti over. He comes out to play and will even jump on the sofa/bed with her if she stays still long enough! He loves his kitty friends—especially his foster brother—and would do best in a home with other playful cats around to draw him out of his shell! Yeti can be quite the chatterbox too, trilling while he’s happy and playing, or if he sees something interesting outside. He’s a sweet, happy boy looking for a calm forever home. Adoption Fee: $100 |

Popsicle - approx 4 years (with foster, BRB)
Popsicle has had quite the adventure over the last year. She came to the cafe in July from a different rescue. She had her right eye removed with them before coming to us. Shortly after she came to us she started showing signs of allergies. We worked very closely with our veterinarian to find a food and treatment that worked for her. Just when we thought she was getting better she would start scratching again. We decided it was in her best interest to see a dermatologist to work out her issues because they were not getting better. Turns out our girl is allergic to dust mites, a few types of grass, mold, and some insects (found in cat food!). She receives an injection once a week to desensitize her from these things. This is something she will need for life. The dermatologist has nicely offered to continue her medication at a discount for her adopter. About Poppy: she has an old lady meow that makes her even cuter, she loves people, catnip, other cats, and dogs in her foster home. She may have an occasional flare up and need other intervention, but the medication she is on should keep most of those at bay. Adoption Fee: $80 |

Foy - approx 4 years
Foy is a sweet and silly man who loves snuggles and pets once he gets to know you. Foy loves to play with toys and would love a human of his own to snuggle up to. He would do well with other cats, but needs a stable and comfortable home as he can be a little sensitive. His funny meow and mustache make this special guy an amazing kitty who deserves a loving home. He is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that doesn't affect his day to day life! He can be quite a snuggler and just needs a safe, stable environment in a home to call his own! Adoption Fee: $80 |
|
Greyson - approx 7 years (with foster)
Grayson is a super sweet and chill older guy! He loves being pet and will rub up against you for them when he's happy! When he gets really, really happy he starts to drool. He is front declawed. Grayson was diagnosed with stomatitis when we got him. He had all of his teeth extracted to help with the pain and inflammation. Sadly, sometimes even removing the teeth does not make the inflammation completely go away, and this was the case for him. We are working with our veterinarians to find the best management for this. Most likely Grayson will require some kind of treatment for this for the rest of his life. Adoption Fee: $80 |
|
Nani - approx 3 years
Nani is a sweet, silly girl. She raised her 5 babies in foster and is now looking for a home of her own! She is very affectionate and likes pets and the occasional snuggle. She also loves playing and ribbon toys are her favorite! She doesn't seem to love other kitties getting too close to her - but might do okay with different animals. She mostly does her own thing, and LOVES watching the birdies on the cat TV, and sitting on the warm coffee machine :) Adoption Fee: $80 |
|
MJ - approx 2 years
MJ was a stray mama cat who found some nice people when she had her babies because she needed help! Her babies were very tiny, and she was not ready to be a mama. Unfortunately, all her kittens passed away. But she is a sweet, chirpy girl who loves attention and head scratches! She may growl or hiss at first, but she just thinks she’s got a reputation to uphold. She is still learning that she doesn’t have to worry about protecting her babies, or wondering where her next meal will come from. Now she gets to just be a kitty. Adoption Fee: $80 |
|
Babou - approx 1 year - ADOPTION PENDING
Babou the shoulder cat with his six-toed paws is playful, rambunctious, and sweet. He loves to play and will climb onto you whenever he pleases! Babou definitely needs other kitty friends - he's very playful and loves his friends at the cafe! He would do well in any home, as long as you're ok with a shoulder buddy! Adoption Fee: $100 |
|
BonBon - approx 5 years
Bon Bon is a tiny little lady who will take over your lap as soon as you sit down by her! She was rescued from a hoarding situation and now spends her days at the cafe snuggled up in comfy beds and seeking out laps. She is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) and so curious, sweet, and cuddly. This 4 pound girl would love a forever home with cozy spots to sleep and a warm lap. Adoption Fee: $80 |

Lilo & Stitch - approx 9 months
This fun group of kittens was born in rescue to mama Nani and have grown up in foster... Lilo, the sleek house panther (black, female) lived in a foster home with her brother Stitch (tabby). She was a great big sister to him while he was undergoing treatment for an illness - Stitch was diagnosed with FIP (https://www.animalbiome.com/blog/feline-infectious-peritonitis-cure) a previously 'incurable' infection but was treated over the course of 6 months and is now considered 'cured'! They are both TOTAL snuggle bugs and love to play with each other, wand toys with their foster mama, and snuggle up for a good bath and snuggle. These guys have been through so much together, they are looking for a forever home together :) Adoption Fee: $250 |
|
Norm & Sully - approx 1 year
Norm and Sully were adopted from Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue but due to unfortunate circumstances having nothing to do with themselves, they needed to come back... they are both very friendly and outgoing, and active! They love string toys and tunnels, and playing with each other. These guys would love to find a new home together since they are best buds. Adoption Fee: $250 |

Helen - approx 1 year (with foster)
Helen was found as a stray who seemed to be injured and bleeding from her eyes - we rushed her to the emergency vet but she was unable to be examined because she was presumed 'feral'... we took her home, gave her time (and some antibiotics) and she healed up, but we realized she is fully blind! She took a while to warm up to humans (understandably!) but now that she is used to her space, and her foster human, she is really blossoming! As long as she knows where her things are, she gets around pretty well! She takes a minute to sniff before she will let you pet her, but with enough pets, she will be rolling over, purring and making biscuits in no time! She's a sweet girl who needs a quiet, small, patient forever home where she can learn to be comfortable in her environment and know that humans are ok and she can be herself! Contact us (kzoocatcafe@gmail.com) if you are interested in meeting/adopting Helen! Adoption Fee: $100 |
|
Reilly and Jonesy - approx 8 months
Reilly and Jonesy (ADOPTION PENDING) are two brothers who were found as tiny kittens and raised together. They don't love all the other kitties at the cafe (it can be so overwhelming) but they love each other, and would love to find a forever home together! They are sweet boys - very affectionate and loving, they would do well in any home! Adoption Fee: $150 each or $250 |
|
Link & Zelda - approx 8 months
Link (black M) and Zelda (tuxedo F) came to us as “semi-ferals” for socialization. While they’re still a bit shy, they’ve come a long way with the help of their friends Darla and Nemo! Link is the more outgoing of the two—he loops around his foster mama’s legs and mews for attention now. Zelda’s still quite people-shy but SUPER playful—she has the silliest zoomies, climbs anywhere she can reach, and loves playing with ribbon toys. These two would love to find a quiet home together. Adoption Fee: $150 |
|
The Orange Beans - approx 6 months
Arthur (ADOPTED), Ginny (ADOPTED) and Weasely were part of a litter of 6 tiny orange kittens who were found by some nice people and bottle fed by an amazing foster! Unfortunately, some of them didn't make it, but these three are finally all grown up (mostly) and vetted and ready to meet some humans and find homes!! Weasley (orange/white feet), aptly named, is always exploring and getting into stuff! They are all polydactyl (they have extra toe beans!!) and all very sweet and loving - and would love to find homes with their friends, or another kitty friend to play and snuggle with! Gretchen - approx 15 years (with foster)
Gretchen is a beautiful senior lady, fun and with a sassy side! She prefers things to be on her terms and you will then be rewarded with her affection. Some call this “Tortie-tude”! But, after 15 yrs she just knows what she likes and what she wants. Nothing wrong with that! She will blossom in an environment that is quiet & stress free, has adults or respectful older children, and allows for window watching & lounging. A gentle approach and allowing her to bond on her own timing is key. She will thrive in a home setting with a patient and loving human as an only kitty. Will this human be you?! She eats special sensitive tummy food and takes a daily supplement - so she's living with a foster but if you're interested in meeting this sweet lady - contact us MEOW! Adoption Fee: $80 |
