Hamilton Babies - approx 2 years
Eliza (B/W, black nose), Peggy (B/W), Lawrence (orange/white, BE RIGHT BACK), (and Lafayette (ADOPTED) and Aaron Purr (ADOPTED) are some friends from another rescue (they were all rescued from the same area). They are still learning to trust us humans, but have already come a long way! Lawrence loves to play, and the girls, Eliza and Peggy, are always snuggling up together! Any of these guys would do well in a quiet home where they can learn to trust and let their purrsonalities truly blossom! Adoption Fee: $100 |
A-A-Ron - approx 1 year
A-A-Ron was rescued from a parking lot as a young kitten after a canned food snack and lots of coaxing. He has always been a shy boy but in a small setting he loves all the attention and scratches. He would probably do best in a quieter home with a buddy where he can feel comfortable and have a friend to cuddle with! Adoption Fee: $100 |
The 7 Dwarves! - approx 1 year
The dwarfs are a sweet bunch that were found with their Mama (Snow White, ADOPTED) by a creek in Vicksburg when some nice people were fishing. Doc (Grey/white nose, M), Happy (brown tabby/white, M), Sneezy (ADOPTED), Sleepy (ADOPTED), Grumpy (ADOPTED), Dopey (grey/white F- BE RIGHT BACK!) and Bashful (grey/white F) are all silly, active, sweet kitties who would love a home with a kitty friend! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
the citrus boys - approx 1 year
Lemon (orange/white, M) is the shyest boy of litter. He likes slow pets and loves to play, and he would do best in a quiet, calmer home with a patient person/family. Tangelo (orange tabby, M) has been with his foster human a long time because he was being treated for FIP (you can read about FIP HERE) and was luckily cured right before Christmas. He's had a long road and is very shy but is feeling much better and can't wait to meet kitty and human friends at the cafe! Adoption Fee: $100 each |
Goose- approx 11 years (with foster)
Goose came to us with a group of other FIV+ kitties almost three years ago. Don’t let his age fool you though, this guy still thinks he’s a kitten. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and can be seen running around the cafe! After he gets that energy out, he does love to settle down and snuggle up for some chin scratches. He’s not a huge fan of other kitties but doesn’t seem to mind them as long as them give him his space. He’s a handsome good boy who’s really sweet once you get to know him! He is toothless, and FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a full and happy life (you can read more about FIV here). Adoption Fee: $80 |
Rodger Mac - approx 12 years (with foster)
Rodger Mac was found trapped under someone's home and unable to walk. We got him straight to the vet and he stayed for a few days so we could assess what was going on with him. We thought he was paralyzed, and weren't sure how his quality of life would be, but after a while in his foster home, he began to try and get up and walk around! He's still a little wobbly - but can get around just fine now, it's amazing! Rodger Mac can only eat pate soft food due to some regurgitation issues, and he is on a daily medication for hyperthyroidism, but he's such a good boy and after his recheck the vet said his levels looked great! Now that we've figured out what's going on with him, he is ready for a special forever home! Apply today to meet this sweet special guy! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Grandpa T - approx 16 years
Grandpa T (aka Pa T or Gramps) is a sweet senior fellow who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! He likes head scritches and will give you kisses and head butts when he's happy! On occasion, he likes using your shoulders as his own personal cat tree. He can often be found on the top of the cat perch by the desk in the cafe. He has claimed it as his own and is not afraid to tell the other kitties to move out of his spot! He can get overstimulated with too much activity or attention, but he'll tell you when he's had enough. Gramps tolerates other cats at the cafe as long as they give him space, but he would like love to have a home all to himself. He would do best in a quiet home without small children. Gramps is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that doesn't affect his day to day life! Adoption Fee: $80 each |
Caddy & Royce - approx 1 year
The biker babies came to us when a good Samaritan found one of the babies by herself in a parking lot at just a few days old. We went out and got the rest of her family—including mama!—from where their smart mama had hidden them from the elements inside the cover of an unused motorcycle. Tesla (ADOPTED) was the first baby we got and the most independent, if a bit shy. Tes likes a good comfy bed and snuggling with her siblings. Mustang (ADOPTED) is sassy and the more outgoing of the two sisters. Stang is equally happy to snuggle or play depending on what the mood in the foster room is. Bentley (B&W, nose freckle, M, ADOPTED) is the biggest ham. He needs all of the attention all the time, and he’s not the least bit shy asking for it. Cadillac (B&W, M) is the troublemaker of the group. Even when he crawls under the blanket to snuggle, Caddy always wants to chew on toes instead of cuddling calmly. Royce (B&W, M) is the mama’s boy, typically preferring to follow Mama Harley and snuggle with her even when she wants her space! They’d love to find homes with kitty friends to snuggle pile with! Adoption Fee: $100 each |
Ramsay - approx 1 year
Ramsay is a petite shy girl with no teeth! She's been through a lot in her life. She came to us pretty sick as a tiny kitten... Part of her tail was missing and not healed and she limped on a rear leg for quite awhile... She would do well in a quiet environment - she can be very shy. Her foster noticed she likes to bond with mother figure cats, and is fine with small dogs. Her favorite toy...? The floppy fish!! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Marge & Lisa - approx 1 year/8 months
Marge Simpson is a momma to Lisa - They came to us when the finder thought Lisa was very sick. She was actually ok and Marge has been doing a good job of taking good care of her baby, but now she's ready for a home of her own! She can be recognized by her super cute avocado collar. She is super sweet but also not quite a fan of her new kitty friends yet, but loves human pets and will warm up with time. Lisa Simpson is Marge's baby! Her closest buddy has always been Superman (coming soon). Adoption Fee: $100 |
The Shy Guys (TM) - approx 2 years
Icebox (calico F), Boombox (orange tabby M), Chum (black and white F) and Nile (black M) are our shy guys that have all been spending time with a foster socializing and learning to trust humans. They have all come super far with their foster but still maybe extra shy until they get comfortable in their surroundings. Ice loves butt scratches and can be a little bit on the sassy side with new kitties. Her brother Boom is really a social butterfly when it comes to other cats and has recently started loving to snuggle in bed with his foster mama. Chum is a sweet petite little girl. She is pretty social with other cats and is very food motivated which her foster mom used to bring her out of her shell. Nile is the shyest of the shy guys still. He was found stranded on a cement slab in the canal of the Kalamazoo River. Slow and steady is the best way to approach him. He isn’t a big fan of top head scratches but will melt for some chins scratches. These guys would all do great in any house that would give them the time and patience to come out of their shells and show their true personalities. Adoption Fee: $100 each |
Shed Babies - approx 1 year
Cowabunga (ADOPTED), Drat (ADOPTED), Blimey (long hair, black and white M), Gadzooks (long hair, black M) were found in a garden shed with their feral mama and were raised together in a foster home. Blimey is pretty shy around people, and likes his environment calm and quiet - he's a cat's cat and gets along with small dogs. Gadzooks is shy too, but did great with all the other cats and small dogs in the home. Malarkey (black M) has come a long way since his FIP diagnosis in November (you can read about FIP HERE) and is luckily now cured! He was initially shy but his real personality is goofy and sweet. They would all love homes where they'll have friends, attention and can come out of their shells! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Blackjack - approx 13 years (ask about meeting me!)
Blackjack came to us with his brother Tucker after their owner passed away. He was used to a quieter home. Blackjack is a nice guy but initially may be uncomfortable with his surroundings. He needs a patient, quiet home that lets him settle in and take his time. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Blackjack! |
Credence - approx 10 months
Newt (ADOPTED), Jacob (ADOPTED), Tina (ADOPTED), Leta (ADOPTED), and Credence (b/w, M) are Mama Queenie's babies! They were found with their mama outside a family's home, who contacted us when they saw one of the babies (Newt!) had a botfly larvae on them. We were able to take them in and get him treated and they've grown up in foster since. These five are sweet, silly, and full of kitten energy! They take some time to warm up to new people and situations, but once they're comfortable they're very chatty and will let you know they want loves and to play! They like string toys and little toys they can chase around, and the boys like to climb up and sit on their foster mom's shoulders. When they've tired themselves out they'll lay in a big pile together on a comfy bed or maybe even on your lap! They would love to be adopted with a sibling, friend, or into a home with another young cat they can play and snuggle with! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Martha Stewart Babies - 7 months
Inspired by an educational bulletin board, our four letter friends (Martha Stewart's babies) have joined us at the cafe! Jeepers (orange, M, BE RIGHT BACK) is the most outgoing of Martha Stewart's babies, he's adventurous and liked to play with the small dogs in his foster home.... and he loves water, just like his brother, Dangnabit (ADOPTED), who is a little more shy, but friendly. Their sister Doggonit (calico tabby, BE RIGHT BACK) is friendly too, and was fine with the dogs. Their brother, Stinkin (tabby) is more aloof, but fine with the dogs in the home too. Bleep (ADOPTED) is the more timid one, but sweet, and their sister, Fiddlesticks (ADOPTED) is the most outgoing! She has a lot of energy, and was great with her doggie and kitty friends in her foster home! These guys are slowly warming up to cafe life, and would love to find a quieter forever home with one of their buddies! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Amity - approx 7 years
Amity is a very sweet, affectionate girl, who has unfortunately due to NO fault of her own, been returned to the rescue. She tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect her day to day life at all! She is a cuddle bug, and LOVES her favorite cave bed. She would be happiest as an only kitty so she can have all your attention to herself... but watch out, she likes to follow so close she is underfoot! Come meet this sweet girl today! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Gideon - 6 years (ADOPTION PENDING)
Gideon came to us from a local shelter after he tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but it doesn't affect his day to day life at all! He's a fuzzy, gentle giant. He acts shy in new surroundings but with a little coaxing and love he'll be all over you. He should do fine with other animal friends after proper meet and greets. His left front leg has a deformity so keeping an eye on the toenails on that foot will be necessary to make sure they don't grow into his paw. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Charmy - approx 1 year
Charmy is a stunning calico lady that has proven herself a saint in her foster home. When her foster home ended up with two tiny kittens that desperately needed someone to bathe them and snuggle them, while teaching them all the manners of a well-to-do kitty, Charmy leapt at the opportunity and has made a reputation for herself as "Mama" to all of the kittens in her foster home. She babysits them, protects them (she'll put a bully right in their place!) and just overall adores them. She would do absolutely fine in nearly any home but would not have any complaints about living with other younger cats/kittens or even just less confident cats. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Mags & Brutus - approx 8 months
Hob (ADOPTED), Mags (grey tabby F), Avox (ADOPTED), Brutus (brown tabby M), and Cresta (ADOPTED) were all raised in foster from the time they were small enough to need bottle feeding. They’ve since grown up big and strong! Hob is both a distinguished gentleman and a troublemaker, always the first one to run out of the foster room but always returning for snuggles. Mags is a petite girl who’s smart enough to know she gets first dibs at the food if she stays in the room while everyone else runs out. She’s playful and absolutely melts for ear scritches. Avox is very baby, all he wants to do is snuggle and “nurse” on his foster’s armpits. Brutus is the biggest of the group and a squishy potato baby. He’s easily spooked and takes a while to warm up to new places and friends, but he loves snuggles once he’s comfortable with you. Cresta is the calmest of the bunch, happy to curl up in your lap while you read and her buddies are running around like crazy. All of them would do well in a home with other cats to play with. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Single Pringles - approx 8 months
Kittenette, Presley and Superman were single kittens who were around the same age and raised together. Kittenette was found as a tiny single on a street corner in the cold. I paired her with Superman (grey tabby) but she ended up buddying up on her own with Presley. She is not happy about her new situation but should settle in to be a sweet kitten pretty quickly! Presley was a single kitten dropped off in front of a farm house. He was originally paired up with Lisa Simpson but ended up picking Kittenette. He is playful when he feels comfortable in his surroundings. Their friend Superman is very shy - he's probably hanging out in his favorite hiding spot at the cafe! He is definitely a cats cat. He came to us from one of our vets as a tiny stray. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Emilia - approx 2 years
Emilia is a young adult dilute calico tabby. She is front declawed. She is going to be a sassy calico for a bit at the cafe while she gets used to everyone. She was a super skinny stray with a flea collar that was never claimed. She is wearing a flamingo collar. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Haven - approx 3 years
Haven came to us after her owner had to rush out of state... We know she was with another cat and two small dogs in her old home. She does get a little overwhelmed by bigger cats so she'll do best with some sweet friends. She's a very nice quiet girl and would love a safe place to call hers! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Meatball - approx 4 years
Introducing the one and only, Meatball! He received his name for being sassy after being told no, and much to everyones delight the name stuck! While Meatball is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) that doesn't stop him from living life to its full potential, and enjoying being spoiled. He would do best either as a solo cat or with cats that are very laid back, he likes to lead and doesn't appreciate others telling him otherwise! Meatball may be shy at first, but once he's comfortable he's a very social and chatty cat, he enjoys exploring and climbing, as well as a cozy lap. He's an excellent biscuit maker and loves to be brushed. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Tilly - approx 7 months (with foster)
This little cutie is Tilly. She was raised by our best bottle baby foster. When it was time for her leukemia/FIV test this girl tested positive for leukemia. She was still at an age that she could grow out of it so we sent off the more extensive test (PCR) twice and both were negative! We have hopes this girl may be negative but her snap test is still positive at this time. We have to test her one more time when she is a little older. We didn't want her status to potentially hold her back from a loving forever home though. She should be the only cat (unless she tests snap negative later) but can live with other pets no problem. She's super sweet and outgoing. She's also very playful! If she stays positive we have no guarantees on how long her life will be but we want to see her be loved for any amount of time she has with us! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Bilbo Baggins - approx 8 months
Bilbo Baggins may only have three legs, but that doesn't really slow him down. He can leap, wrestle, run, and snuggle with the best of them. His favorite activity is playing and snuggling with humans while they chill on the couch/bed. He is very capable, but would prefer a quieter home, where nothing bigger than him is running around. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Mily - approx 1 year
Mily is a tortie that is about the same age as pumpkin but she isn't nearly as confident. She gets along with anyone and everyone, and was snuggling with some kittens under the couch on her first night at the cafe. She is all sweetheart but might take awhile longer to get settled in. Adoption Fee: $100 |
Mighty - approx 5 months
Mighty Mite (long haired tabby female) was named for her overload of ear mites she had when she was found! She's super sweet and already running around the cafe like she has always been there. She is very outgoing and would love a forever home with friends to play with and lots of toys! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Maisy - approx 5 years (ask about meeting me!)
Maisy Daisy came to us when her previous owner went into a nursing home. She is 6 years old, her estimated birthday being around September 2016. Maisy has lived with other cats in the past, but she's not yet comfortable meeting new cats in her foster home. Maisy loves human attention and loves to be petted from head to toe. She is very talkative, often greeting you when you enter the room. Maisy can sometimes become overstimulated and act out with "love bites," but she isn't trying to hurt you. A little quiet time to calm down, and she's back to her friendly self. Maisy has loved the days when her foster human worked from home, making herself right at home on the computer desk, she'll gladly spend all day with her human. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Maisy! |
Sixtine - approx 2 years (COMING SOON)
Sixtine had a rough start in her first home when she was left to fend for herself, along with several other cats. Sixtine has been with us for a few months now and has proven to be a sweet girl that adores pets, and will meow to demand them. She is a completely happy, affectionate cat but she does get startled easily at times, and does not like being picked up at all. She gets along absolutely fine with other cats though, loves to be brushed, and is ready for her own home! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Gnome - approx 5 years (with foster)
Garden Gnome, Gnome for short, came to us when someone put out a request for an indoor home for this handsome boy they were feeding outside in their garden. He required some medical attention as he needed some dental care, entropian surgery to assist with his vision and to prevent further irritation and to be neutered. After a few months in foster we noticed his breathing was a little off and after an x-ray/exam it was recommended he see a cardiologist did to his enlarged heart where we discovered that Gnome does live with a heart murmur and was recently diagnosed with Hypertrophic Obstructing Cardiomyopathy and Heart Disease. The vet who diagnosed him has given him up to a year to live. Right now he is on two medications. They may add in a third if he continues to do well. Medicating him is a breeze, he strongly prefers the salmon flavored pill pockets though! While Gnome may not be here for a long time, he's here to have a fun time! He tends to act shy and reserved at first, however once he is comfortable you will have your own chatty shadow. Gnome enjoys playing with his foster siblings tails as well as grooming them. He would do best either as the sole pet or with other very laid back friends, as more dominant cats lead to stressing him out which negatively affects his health. Gnome has no thoughts in his brain, he is just fluff and all he wants is to get to enjoy the luxuries of living in the great indoors such as the constant grooming to help maintain his beautiful long coat, constant fresh water and toys! He will pay his cat rent though, by presenting to you his pretty blue eyes and his polydactyl beans! He also will communicate with you if you are doing something that causes him to feel over-stimulated or bothered by gently nipping at you, he is a gentle giant though and means no harm in this! We would love to find him a home that will love him for the rest of the life he has been given. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Maeby - approx 1 year
Maeby mama was dumped at our front door in a filty carrier - we have no idea where she came from or why. All we know is that now she is with us, and we will take care of her. Once we got to know her, our medical director noticed that her belly was a little round... given her situation, we didn't think it was from being fed too much... We named her Maeby mama because we thought she might be pregnant. Unfortunately, we were right. Due to the risks, Maeby was spayed and is now waiting for a real forever home of her own! She doesn't mind other cats, she is a sweet sweet girl and would do well in most homes. Come meet her today! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Siambretta - approx 3 years (ask about meeting me!)
Siambretta (Siam, pronounced 'Sam'), named after his motorcycle purr, is a super sweet big house panther... he was saved from being euthanized by his previous owners because he had problems using the litterbox - but come to find out, it's probably because he had all 4 paws declawed. Siam is a sweet, snuggly boy who just needs the right help to be comfortable and be his best self! He doesn't mind a few other cats but would love to be an only cat too! Ask about meeting him at the cafe today! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Siam! |
Rita - approx 10 years
Rita came to one of the cafe fosters when she was found by a good Samaritan. She's an older gal, but very thin and small - under 5 pounds. She had an old infected wound on a front leg, yucky teeth and her ears were frostbitten and have since fallen off. Rita tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that does not affect her day to day life! In her foster home, she had a dental and gained some much needed healthy weight, and is now ready to find her forever home! She is a bit hesitant around new friends, you can often find her underneath the couch, but with one pet, she will be your best bud! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Johanna - approx 3 years
Johanna came to us after she was found in a mobile home after it had sit vacant for 2 months and no one was aware there were 2 cats living inside with only an overflowing litterbox and no food and water... By the time they were found, one of the cats had passed away and the other one was surviving the only way she knew how after the death of her housemate :( Johanna came to us very thin but with steady meals and a little TLC she is gaining weight and doing well. She is a sweet girl who, despite the failure of her humans, is lucky to be alive! She's got a long road ahead but will be hoping to find a loving, caring and responsible forever family! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Radio - approx 2 years
Radio is the sweetest, silliest, big cheeky boy you've ever seen! This tomboy was found as a stray and fixed up and is ready to find his own forever home! Radio is a sweet and silly as they come, but he does sometimes get a little overstimulated and can be nibbly - he would do best in a home with older humans that can understand his body language and temperament, and know when he needs a break! He's a good boy, looking for the right home! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Addy - approx 6 months
Addy came to us from a local shelter after she had healed from a large wound on her belly that affected her intestines. The shelter veterinarian had to remove a small portion of her intestines that had died from trauma. She healed up beautifully and went into foster where she lived with small dogs and other cats. She's playful and sweet. Most of the time you can find her trying to get into things she shouldn't, or trying to sit in your lap to get attention! She's a sweet girl who would do well in most homes - come meet her today! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
