Available Kitties:
Hamilton Babies - approx 4 years
Eliza (black/white), Peggy (grey/white), and Lawrence (orange/white) came to us as friends from another rescue. They were part of a group of strays that had all been rescued from the same area. Their siblings Aaron Purr and Lafayette have already been adopted. Lawrence (ASK ABOUT MEETING ME) is the sweetest boy. He loves to be around other kitties, especially his sisters Eliza and Peggy. After our move to our new location, Lawrence developed a “rodent ulcer”—often caused by environmental allergies... since being on a limited ingredient diet, his lip has been MUCH better! While he was in his foster home, his foster human said he loved to chirp and talk with you. He is a playful and social kitty who really loves to be with other people and kitties. He’s back at the cafe now, just in our med room so he can stay on his special diet. Lawrence deserves his very own forever home, ask to meet him today! Eliza and Peggy are still very shy but they are tightly bonded. They can basically always be found together at the cafe—they eat together, sleep together, play together. Although they aren’t too keen on pets yet, they love to play. The way to their hearts is with string toys and treats. These girls need a home were they can learn to trust and let their personalities truly blossom. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Goose- approx 13 years
Goose came to us with a group of other FIV+ kitties almost three years ago. Don’t let his age fool you though, this guy still thinks he’s a kitten. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and can be seen running around the cafe! After he gets that energy out, he does love to settle down and snuggle up for some chin scratches. He’s not a huge fan of other kitties but doesn’t seem to mind them as long as them give him his space. He’s a handsome good boy who’s really sweet once you get to know him! He is toothless, and FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a full and happy life (you can read more about FIV here). Adoption Fee: $80 |
Gramps - approx 18 years
Grandpa T (aka Pa T or Gramps) is a sweet senior fellow who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! He likes head scritches and will give you kisses and head butts when he's happy! On occasion, he likes using your shoulders as his own personal cat tree. He can often be found on the top of the cat perch by the desk in the cafe. He has claimed it as his own and is not afraid to tell the other kitties to move out of his spot! He can get overstimulated with too much activity or attention, but he'll tell you when he's had enough. Gramps tolerates other cats at the cafe as long as they give him space, but he would like love to have a home all to himself. He would do best in a quiet home without small children. He is FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a full and happy life (you can read more about FIV here). Adoption Fee: $80 |
Stinkin - 1 year
Inspired by an educational bulletin board, Dagnabit, Doggoneit, Jeepers, Bleep, and Fiddlesticks have all been adopted but Stinkin (brown tabby) is at the cafe waiting for a forever home! Stinkin has always been the shyest of the bunch and definitely a cat’s cat. He has made progress at the cafe and will sometimes accept pets from people who go slow with him. He does love to play and is often found snuggled up on a cat tree or with a buddy. Apart from his kitty friends, his favorite thing is watching cat TV! Stinkin needs a home with a kitty friend(s) and humans that are patient with him and let him get comfortable at his own pace so his personality can bloom. Come meet these guys and see if your home could be their forever home. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Meatball - approx 5 years
Introducing the one and only, Meatball! He received his name for being sassy after being told no, and much to everyones delight the name stuck! While Meatball is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) that doesn't stop him from living life to its full potential, and enjoying being spoiled. He would do best either as a solo cat or with cats that are very laid back, he likes to lead and doesn't appreciate others telling him otherwise! Meatball may be shy at first, but once he's comfortable he's a very social and chatty cat, he enjoys exploring and climbing, as well as a cozy lap. He's an excellent biscuit maker and loves to be brushed. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Pedra - approx 1 year
Pedra came to us very early in her life and spent time in a foster home with other single kittens before coming to the cafe. Pedra is such a goofy girl! She can be an independent lady at times, but when she wants affection she is not at all afraid to let you know. When she is feeling snuggly, she goes all in and will just bury her face into you while she gets pets. She also loves to play, especially with string toys. She does well with the other kitties at the cafe, and would be a great addition to just about any home! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Modela - approx 2 years
Modela was found with her litter of 4 kittens outside in a Modelo box; we were unsure if she took up residence in the box to have her babies or if someone dumped them. Her foster momma found that her babies were very sick, and despite Modela being very unsure of humans she let her do her best to help them. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts all but one of her babies passed away. While in her foster home, Modela was still very leery of humans but she did allow pets from her foster momma when other friendly cats were close by. She has now made it to the cafe, and she is going to need plenty of time to do her own thing before she trusts anyone. She may have a tough exterior, but her softer side comes out when it’s quiet at the cafe and you bring out a string toy. She is learning how to be an indoor cat now, and that she loves to play. Modela deserves a calm, loving and patient home where she can continue to learn that most humans are good and kind. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Bob - approx 11 years (ask about meeting me!)
This sweet boy is Bob! He is a social eater, looking for his very own forever dinner date—he loves to have someone talk to him, hang out with him and pet him while he eats. He is a super affectionate boy and would love a home where he can be the center of attention. He is not a fan of other kitties, but he tolerates his roommates if they give him plenty of space. He's also FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here), but that doesn’t mean he is any less deserving of finding a great family. If you come by the cafe, you might get a chance to meet him when he comes out to the front desk to hang out! If he’s not there, ask us about heading back to the office to give this guy some love attention! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Mr Bob! |
Glenda - approx 10 years
Glenda was found curled up in an apartment complex lot after her owner moved out. She had a large healing wound on her hip and her coat was in bad shape. She battled a bladder infection when we first got her but is doing better now! She does have some early elevated kidney values that will need to be watched, but she's a sweet girl who deserves a calm home. She can be a bit spicy when you try to make her do something she rather not! She often is curled up on her spot she has claimed on the shelves by the TV, but sometimes when it’s quiet she’ll come out and look for a lap to sit on. Glenda needs a quiet home, preferably where she is the only kitty. Adoption Fee: $80 |
Wobbles & LongTail - 1 year
Wobbles and Long Tail (siblings Button Nose and Weebles have been adopted) have been growing and spending time learning to trust humans with one of our fosters, but now are ready to find their furever homes! These guys are cautious at first but love to cuddle and play with their foster parents. Long Tail is the only on with a full tail while the others have shorter nubs or no tail (manx). Wobbles has Manx Syndrome due to not having a tail. This leads him to have mobility issues and wobble when he walks. So far, it has presented as mild and doesn’t stop him from keeping up with his siblings. He even has found his own way of climbing cat trees! Wobbles may require some home accommodations, but he still is just like any other kitten. He can be shy at first, but he loves to play and get pets! Long Tail is a very energetic and sometimes mischievous boy. He loves to play and needs a home with someone who is able to help him work that energy out. When he settles down, he is a total momma’s boy and LOVES to snuggle. Currently, he is separate from the general population because he has gotten into some squabbles with older boy cats that were picking on him. He would do best in a home with the right type of kitty friend that will do well with his playful energy, but also one that will not provoke or bully him. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Nephele - approx 5 years
Nephele (Neph, tortie F) came to us with several other cats from a hoarding situation after another rescue turned them away for being FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) - but we know that FIV just makes her #positivelyadoptable! Neph is a smol bean who wants a lap to sit in and nothing else. She’s a velcro cat, right down to digging her claws in to make biscuits and stake her claim to her person. She wants to snuggle all day, every day, and is not shy about climbing on her people for attention whether they’re busy or not! She has a little bit of tortitude—she’ll meow at you for attention and smack other cats for encroaching on her cuddles—but she’s mainly just sweet and clingy. She’s very used to cats and does well with them as long as they respect her claim to laps, and would do well in a home where she can receive a lot of attention. Adoption Fee: $80 |

the Fantastic 4! - approx 9 months
Flambeau (ADOPTED) He is incredibly sociable and adores playing with toys and engaging with other cats. He's very talkative, loves chatting with people. He eagerly greets you at the door every day when you return home. Florence (Gray/White Female, BE RIGHT BACK!) Though she is small she has a big personality. She delights in scaling high places like shoulders, cat trees, and refrigerators. Her fondness for human food is undeniable, often begging for it persistently. She finds comfort in sleeping with people in bed at night. Furiosa (ADOPTED) She loves being pet, so much that she can be demanding for attention. She prefers cuddling up in bed with people at night. She is very afraid of crates. Faye (Torti Female) Loves chatting with people and curling up in peoples laps. She's been sick several times as a kitten and is prone to stuffy nose. Can be startle-able but gets over it quickly when comforted. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
the Lil Rascals - approx 8 months
The Lil Rascals - Rascal (tabby), Darla (black), and Alfalfa (ADOPTED) came to us when they were born to an outside mom and Darla had a bot fly embedded in her head! Their caregiver wanted to make sure she was okay and they all had a better chance at a safe forever home. They are sweet social babies and have been raised around other cats and small dogs. They would do well in almost any home! Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Thimble - approx 8 months
Bobbin (ADOPTED) is a wonky boy with a very mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) – which makes him a bit wobbly, but his wobbly walk adds to his character! Their litter tested positive for panleukopenia which them very sick – and caused Bobbin to develop the CH. He’s a big snuggler and also a playful goof! Thimble (m - brown tabby) is also a snuggly boy and loves a good belly rub! Also loves playing with the wand toys along with his brother. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Aravis - approx 6 months
Aravis (tabby) brown tabby Super playful and vocal. She’s a very curious girl and loves to run through her foster home chasing the other kittens. Would do well with a younger cat who could keep up with her playfulness. Jadis (ADOPTED) tuxedo Very energetic and playful loves roughhousing with her foster mates. Would do well with another cat so she can burn off her baby energy. Loves the treat jar and the spring toys. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
Rosie - approx 2 years
Rosie came to us after having some issues in her home that her owners weren't willing to deal with - although she's shown no issues with us at the cafe - except wanting attention and pets and cuddles all the time!! She's a big dilute tortie girl, who will roll over and show you her belly for pets, and won't take no for an answer! She is officially on the lookout for a new forever human! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Curtsy - approx 5 years
Curtsy (black and white, polydactyl (she has extra toes!)) came from another county shelter. She was sick and was having a hard time getting better with all the other kitties. In her foster home, she improved right away! But she will still need a dental cleaning which will hopefully make her feel even better! She takes a minute to make kitty friends, but she's been doing well so far at the cafe, and LOVES the kitty TV! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Lili - approx 1 year
Lily has come SO FAR in her time with rescue - she was always such a shy gal, but now she's confident and even a little sassy sometimes! She just knows what she likes! She has chronic kitty herpes issues, which results in her eyes being a bit goobery sometimes – but nothing to worry too much about! She likes to be right by you, but only likes a few head pats and then she's back to being an independent lady! Adoption Fee: $100 |
Matzo - approx 3 years
Matzo ball is a super sweet stray boy who came to us after testing FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here), but that doesn’t mean he is any less deserving of finding a great family! He's a bit shy at first, but he's a really low-key guy who is still figuring out his personality and what this cat cafe place is all about! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Barnaby - approx 8 years (BE RIGHT BACK!)
Barnaby came to us from another rescue for a change of scenery - he is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here), but that doesn’t mean he is any less deserving of finding a great family! He's a pretty shy, but of course it takes a while to get used to a new place. He sometimes has issues with one of his legs, and he will soon be toothless! The rest of his teeth are not in good condition and need to be removed. He will feel SO much better and can't wait to find a forever home! Adoption Fee: $80 |
the Misfits - approx 9 months
Pixie (F), Arlington (M) and Murphy (aka Merp, M) were all singletons that needed some extra TLC and when old enough were brought together to make The Misfits! Our little tripod Pixie needed some extra socialization when she came to us from another rescue we work with. She is shy at first but once comfortable is the sweetest little snuggle bug. Arlington came to us after losing his mama as a tiny kitten. Merp was brought into a shelter for medical attention when he way found by someone who notices he had some trauma to his face. Both of these boys are very outgoing, curious and love to find a good lap to snuggle once comfortable in their surroundings. All three of these kitties would do great with a friend in most homes. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |
B99 Crew - approx 10 months
The Brooklyn 99 crew came to us from the east side of the state where they were being cared for in someone's garage. All are friendly and enjoy human companions of all ages. They haven't been around dogs yet, but adjust well to other cats with time and proper introductions. Peralta (aka Purralta, M, white/grey) is the most laid back of the group. He is a needy goofball who loves to play with anyone who will let him and then aggressively snuggle. He would love nothing more than to barrel roll into your lap and heart. He's also fascinated by slight of hand. Santiago (F, grey) is a sweet people pleaser who's also a closet spicy kitten when it comes to making new friends. She lives for plastic toys that make noise when she bats them across the floor. She is equal parts playful and snuggly. She actually tries to listen to humans, which makes her quite an over achiever in the cat world. Jeffords (M, grey tabby/white) is a bit of a shy guy at first. Once he opens up, he's as needy, playful, and lovable as Peralta. He goes absolutely nuts for catnip toys. Jeffords a big softy who is always grooming and checking in on his siblings. He would love a home with one of his siblings to snuggle when his people aren't around. Gina (F, ADOPTION PENDING) is the feline form of the 100 emoji. Adorable, goofy, mischievous, and snuggly, Gina is truly one of a kind. When she snuggles, she will lap the air with her tongue while staring into the void. She's an inspiration and a ball of charisma who will lighten up her human's life. Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250 |

Ersa and Emile (with foster) - approx 2 years
Ersa (tabby F) came to us with several other cats from a hoarding situation. She was very friendly but still needed her vaccines and to be spayed. She is now fully vetted and ready to find her forever home! Ersa loves hands—she wants to get pet all the time, and she is so excited for pets that she’ll grab your hands to pull them to her. Sometimes, she’ll even nibble on them in her excitement! She wants to be near her people, though she’s not much of a lap cat because she won’t sit still for very long. Ersa’s very used to other cats but is very hot and cold when it comes to tolerating them—she’ll headbutt and snuggle her foster buddies one moment and swat them for looking at her the next. She’s also a little skittish with new people and loud noises. She’ll do well in a quiet home. Emile (long hair, tabby, with foster) came to us from the same place, but is definitely more shy. He was far less socialized than some of the other kitties we got out of this situation, and he wasn’t even fixed yet. We got him fixed and up-to-date on vaccines, but he was still incredibly scared of people and would yowl and growl to let us know about it whenever we approached his condo. We could see he was curious and wanting to be brave, so he moved to a foster who could focus on his socialization directly. Sure enough, 24 hours—and one churu treat—later, he had visibly relaxed and even allowed some very tentative chin scritches! Turns out this boy will do just about anything for more churu. He still has some domestic cat skills left to master and a ways to go on his socialization journey, but he has graduated to allowing pets all around his head without treats (if you go slow) and mainly yowling when his foster buddies are getting treats instead of him. Emile will need a quiet home with someone who understands his ways of communication and at least one brave kitty friend to remind him everything’s okay. Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Emile! |
Rooster - approx 2 years
Rooster is a super duper sweet and silly guy - he was a neighborhood stray who took up residence in a chicken coop before coming to us! He got neutered (yay!) and is ready for cat cafe life and to find his own forever home! He doesn't seem to mind other cats, but he can be timid around other bigger personalities. He LOVES pets and would love a calm loving forever home! Adoption Fee: $80 |
Bubz - approx 4 years
Bubz was a friendly stray who was being fed by a nice citizen, when they noticed that he had a wound on his side. He's since healed up and is getting ready to find a forever home! He is a very relaxed guy, LOVES belly rubs, and his wet food snacks. He is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here), but that doesn’t mean he is any less deserving of finding a great family! He would love a calm forever home where he can lounge in the sun all day, and then get belly rubs from his favorite humans all night! Adoption Fee: $80 |
James & Silas - approx 6&9 years
James (B/W) and Silas (orange, no tail) were friendly barn boys who are now looking for a safe loving indoor home! They get along great together, but would be ok in a home on their own too. They're a little timid at first, but they both love snuggling and love pets! James, as long as his former owners knew, has had a cyst on the side of his neck... It doesn't bother him, but we are going to get him scheduled to have it removed soon. And Silas has older man teeth and needs a dental cleaning which will also be scheduled soon. Other than that, they are both in great spirits and are getting used to Cafe life and would love to find their forever humans soon! Adoption Fee: $80 each |
Mayo - approx 10 months
Mayo came to the cafe through another rescue when she was diagnosed with FIP. She went through her full treatment and is now considered cured! She is definitely a cats cat and will need at least one feline friend. She takes a while to warm up to people. She's petite and quiet. She would probably do best in a quieter home. Adoption Fee: $150 |
Mr Chandler - approx 5 years (ask about meeting me!)
Mister aka Mister Twister aka Bubbsie aka Kittens - a man of many names! Mister was a clinic cat at a local vet when he was adopted from us back when he was a baby! He loved "helping" with all the paperwork and greeting visitors, but he's now happily retired! Mister is a super sweet cat (although, he'll let you know when he's done, he is very demanding after being spoiled for so many years!) and he likes other cats that like him! He loves to climb on his people's shoulders and he makes a great scarf, as well as office assistant. Mister has been working hard and is looking forward to a nice retired life in a home of his own! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Mister! |
Growler - approx 1 year (ask about meeting me!)
This sweet handsome boy is Growler... He is looking for a very special home!! He's funny, and sweet, and a great snuggler (he sometimes lets his foster human hold him like a baby!!), but unfortunately, he has a habit of getting overstimulated and because he doesn't know what to do, he plays a little too hard, and can bite a bit. We started him on kitty Prozac, and he has been calmer so far! He loves to cuddle, and play, and he is a sweet cute boy who just needs the right environment and the right person and/or friend kitty to be successful and have a happy healthy life. That environment probably has no kids, and a person who FULLY understands his behavior, and how to help him be a good boy. He would probably get along great with another kitty who could match his playful energy, but hold their own when he plays too hard. Cats don't behave how they behave for no reason. Growler just needed some help and needs to find the right home where he can thrive! Adoption Fee: $100 We are now accepting applications to meet Growler! |
Sully - approx 1 year (ask about meeting me!)
Sully came from a hoarding situation with Emile, Erebos and Neph - he's a little nervous guy, but once he warms up to you, he realizes he likes pets! Loud noises and quick movement are still pretty scary for him, but he is quick to rebound and is getting braver by the day! Sometimes a little too brave with other kitties when he get's really excited! But with the right friend, he would love to run around and play and wrestle! Sully is a special guy, looking for a special home - ask about meeting him at the cafe today! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Sully! |
Fang - approx 2 years (with foster!)
Fang came to us when the humans who had been feeding him noticed that he had an issue with his mouth - one of his 'fangs' was indeed showing and he would drool and had trouble eating, because his bottom jaw was broken clear in half! Luckily, he's healed up now and doing much better, and learning to trust his foster human! He's a shy guy, very laid back and not much bothers him... he will be looking for his very own forever home soon! Adoption Fee: $80 We are now accepting applications to meet Fang! |
Brother - approx 4 months (with foster!)
Brother and Sister (ADOPTED) came from a shelter in Detroit when they were found in a dirty cardboard box - completely malnourished (and super wormy!!)... Luckily, they've been growing big and strong in their foster home and will be ready to find their forever homes after their spay/neuter surgery in mid-March! They are THE GOODEST puppies - they are very smart, they follow their foster mama everywhere, and they know sit! Brother (black and white, M) is more cuddly and sweet, and always wants to cuddle with his favorite human! They love to play and wrestle, and Brother would definitely love to have a big brother or sister in his forever home! They are both super duper friendly, and do great around cats! Adoption Fee: $350 We are now accepting applications to meet Brother! Apply meow: https://forms.gle/qWhUYmQUAs3JDZmw7 |
