Available Kitties:

Gretchen - approx 15 years (with foster)

Gretchen is a beautiful senior lady, fun and with a sassy side! She prefers things to be on her terms and you will then be rewarded with her affection. Some call this “Tortie-tude”! But, after 15 yrs she just knows what she likes and what she wants. Nothing wrong with that! She will blossom in an environment that is quiet & stress free, has adults or respectful older children, and allows for window watching & lounging. A gentle approach and allowing her to bond on her own timing is key. She will thrive in a home setting with a patient and loving human as an only kitty. Will this human be you?! She eats special sensitive tummy food and takes a daily supplement - so she's living with a foster but if you're interested in meeting this sweet lady - contact us MEOW!

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Ol' Gretch!

Hamilton Babies - approx 2 years

Eliza (B/W, black nose), Peggy (B/W), Lawrence (orange/white), Lafayette (ADOPTED) and Aaron Purr (ADOPTED) are some friends from another rescue (they were all rescued from the same area). They are still learning to trust us humans, but have already come a long way! Lawrence loves to play, and the girls, Eliza and Peggy, are always snuggling up together! Any of these guys would do well in a quiet home where they can learn to trust and let their purrsonalities truly blossom!

Adoption Fee: $100
Daddy & Figaro - approx 1 year (with foster)

It was by complete coincidence that Daddy Blackberry (short hair, counterpart to Mama Orange) and Figaro (med hair) ended up in the same foster home at the same time - but these guys became BEST buds! Daddy was terrified when he first came to us, he didn't move much, and he didn't really like getting pet... but when Figaro came along, Daddy decided he wanted to be friends and his confidence grew 10 fold! Now they are inseparable and Daddy loves to cuddle and get pets too! Figaro has been with us since he was a baby and has had some medical issues. He is on some medications but is doing great. On occasion, he gets himself worked up and it makes him have trouble breathing - but he knows how to calm himself down! He just needs to take a break and be calm. These guys would LOVE to find a home together, ask us about them today!!

Adoption Fee: $100 each
We are now be accepting applications to meet Daddy and Figaro!
Folklore Babies - approx 1 year

The Folklore Babies— James Bean (slightly floofy black, M), Betty (black, F) and August (black/white, F) —came to us when the family who had been feeding their mama caught James thinking their mama had been hit by a car. We offered to help trap his sisters, and the first cat we trapped was their mama! The whole family is very shy and has been with their foster mama for months adjusting to life inside with humans. Jamesy is the most social of the kittens—he wants to be brave so bad, and picks up on the behaviors of the cats around him. He is the BIGGEST mama’s boy ever (seriously), and he loves to chew on a good cardboard box! August is a bit more shy but LOVES a good churu and likes to talk with her foster mama when she’s in a good mood. Betty is the spiciest bean, but she loves her family and has gotten more brave as she got more comfortable. They would love to find a calm, patient forever home with other kitty friends!

Adoption Fee: $100 each
Dorothea - approx 5 years

Mama Dorothea is the mama of the Folklore babies. She came to us when the family who had been taking care of her as an outdoor feral cat for years reached out to us for help with her kittens and we caught her first! Turns out, she’s only semi-feral and just didn’t like their dogs. They hadn’t been able to catch her for long enough to get her spayed, so she kept having litters of kittens that they were finding homes for—now she’s done having babies and is learning to relax around humans! She is the most tolerant mama ever to her babies, letting them snuggle all over her even now that they’re as big as she is. Her one ear is permanently crinkled—likely due to an old hematoma—but with proper care it doesn’t bother her at all. She likes crunchy treats and will eat them straight out of your hand when she trusts you. She would like a quiet home alone or with one of her babies where she can keep learning to trust people.

Adoption Fee: $80
Jayden - approx 3 years (with foster)

Jayden (black and white) and Barley (ADOPTED) were adopted from the cafe a couple years ago and have found their way back to us through no fault of their own. They have been through a lot. Jayden is outgoing, loves people, and belly rubs! He gets stressed out easily so a quiet home would be the best environment for him - as an only kitty if possible! He will certainly love getting all the attention and pets to himself!

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Jayden!
The Supers! - approx 1 year

The Supernaturals came to us as small, scared kittens. With help from their foster mamas and some of their foster friends, they’re now outgoing and love human attention! Jensen (black with purple collar, F) was the most social of the supers. She’s a sweet little meowdel who loves to lay in a good sunspot. Misha (tuxedo, M, ADOPTED) took a little while to come around but is now the most dramatic if he doesn’t immediately get attention. He’s a talker and likes to chew on his foster mama’s toes while she tries to pet him. Jared (black with blue and red collar, M) was the most shy of the supers when we got them and would hide when his foster mama came in the room. Now he’s the first one to run out of the foster room and beg for pets! He’s a big gentle giant, and even tries to snuggle with his foster’s resident cat when he breaks out of his room. They would love to find a forever home with another kitty friend to play with and plenty of human attention.

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
Ruby - approx 1 year

The Deck Babies were named because after their mama (Treasure) was found in a window well, she grabbed one of her babies and ran and hid under the neighbor's deck! It took ALL day to get them out, but we got mama and all her babies back together again. Ruby and her siblings, Opal (ADOPTED), Sapphire (ADOPTED), Citrine (ADOPTED), and Onyx (ADOPTED) are all babies of mama Treasure! They are all super sweet kittens, though they might take a little time to warm up to new people. She would love to be adopted into a home with a friendly cat, or one of her kitten friends!

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
Mama Flyer - approx 2 years

Mama Flyer came to us when a previous adopter found her in their flower box after she had kittens. She was the best mama to her sweet babies (the Land Before Time kittens) and is the sweetest girl herself. She is still a bit shy but has been slowly coming out of her shell with her foster mama and really loves a good butt scratch. She seems unbothered by other cats and would do good in a quiet home with someone that will give her time and patience to bloom.

Adoption Fee: $80
Nova - approx 3 years

Nova is a sweet, shy tortie that was found with her two babies in a vacant property's basement in August of 2021. She takes some time to warm up to you and likes to do her own thing, but will headbutt you for chin scratches and will purr when you walk in the room once you've earned her trust. She likes to sleep under blankets and in the cat tree. Nova would do best in a home with no kids or dogs, and we aren't sure if she would do well with other cats.

Adoption Fee: $80
Tails - approx 9 months (with foster)

Tails was rescued by a good Samaritan on the side of the road. He suffered a broken pelvis and severe trauma to his tail. After some time on antibiotics our veterinarian removed the part of his tail that was no longer viable. It's about an inch and a half and the skin is still healing. He's a really sweet kitten. Would probably do great in just about any home. Long term it would be best to keep his weight managed due to his pelvis.

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
We are now accepting applications to meet Tails!
Baggie - approx 4 years (with foster)

Baggie was brought to us by a concerned citizen who thought she was a plastic bag when she saw her get hit by a car! She appeared to have some road rash on her face and was luckily ok otherwise... She's very happy to be warm and safe now, and won't stop making biscuits! She's a little hissy with new cat friends, but fine with her small foster dog friends. She's sweet, and quiet, and would love a calm, loving home.

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Baggie!

 A-A-Ron - approx 1 year

A-A-Ron was rescued from a parking lot as a young kitten after a canned food snack and lots of coaxing. He has always been a shy boy but in a small setting he loves all the attention and scratches. He would probably do best in a quieter home with a buddy where he can feel comfortable and have a friend to cuddle with! Catalicous and A-A-Ron can often be found cuddled up together ;)

Adoption Fee: $100
Puck - approx 8 years (with foster)

Puck was an outdoor stray feed by a nice couple for several months until they feared he medically needed more care. He had a skin infection and an abscessed tooth when we got him to the vet. After his skin improved and the infection in his mouth was better he had a dental. He's a very nice older boy. He's still acclimating with the other animals in foster but with enough time he should do fine in most homes.

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Puck!

Chum - approx 1 year (with foster)

Bruce (black, M, ADOPTED) and his sister, Chum (black and white, F), were found after Brucey was hit by a car and caught in a field. A few days later, we caught his sister too! She is still in a foster home working on socializing with her kitten friends and human foster mama.

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
The 7 Dwarves!  - approx 10 months

The dwarfs are a sweet bunch that were found with their Mama (Snow White, ADOPTED)  by a creek in Vicksburg when some nice people were fishing. Doc (Grey/white nose, M), Happy (brown tabby/white, M), Sneezy (grey tabby/white, F), Sleepy (ADOPTED),  Grumpy (grey/white, M), Dopey (grey/white F- BE RIGHT BACK!) and Bashful (grey/white F) are all silly, active, sweet kitties who would love a home with a kitty friend!

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
Glenn  - approx 3 years

Due to circumstances beyond his control, Glenn has returned to us and is back up for adoption. Glenn is a roughly 3-year-old armchair panther who loves head scratches and snuggles. A shy guy, he takes a little while to warm up but once he feels comfortable, he will be an amazing addition to your family. Glenn will groom your hair and demand scratches when you sit down, and is especially good at making appearances in Zoom meetings. He loves to play with cat toys but his favorite thing is his cardboard scratcher. He likes people of all ages as long as they move slowly at first. He would do best in a home with older kids and no dogs.

Adoption Fee: $80
Echo & Delta - approx 1 year

These spicy tigers were brought to us when they were little... they were not very used to being around humans! Delta girl warms up and likes to snuggle and likes pets. Her brother Echo has huge paws, he is more friendly with other cats especially young ones, he's very gentle. They both have lived around small dogs. They will hide until they are comfortable, but when they are, they have come so far from their spicy beginnings!

Adoption Fee: $100
Cera & Littlefoot - approx 1 year

The Land Before Time babies, Petrie (orange M, ADOPTED), Littlefoot (black, M, AT THE NEW BUILDING), Cera (tortie, F) and Duckie (orange F, ADOPTED) were born in a window flower basket to mama Flyer and were found by some nice people who adopted kitties from us. These babies are all sweet, silly and love to play and cuddle with each other. Through no fault of their own, Littlefoot and Cera are back at the cafe and ready to find a real forever home!

Adoption Fee: $100 each
Harley Mama - approx 1 year

Mama Harley came to us when a good Samaritan found one of her babies in the parking lot of their building at just a few days old. After the rest of her babies were found, mama tried to take them back from us and hide them in the cover of an unused motorcycle across the parking lot. Eventually we got all of the babies back and caught Harley so we could give her a safe, warm place to raise them. She is a sweet, shy young mama who absolutely loves to snuggle once she’s comfortable with you. She needs a few days to warm up to new spaces, but when her kids aren’t hogging both her space and yours, she’ll headbutt you for ear scritches and even sit behind you to help style your hair. She chirps and trills to tell you she’s happy and comfortable. Mama Harley would do well in a quiet home by herself or with other calm animal friends.

Adoption Fee: $100
Lemon & Yuzu - approx 10 months

Yuzu (buff/white, M) is good boy, although a little shy. He's a great play buddy but likes to be the dominant one. He also gets along well with small dogs. Lemon (orange/white, M) is the shyest boy of litter. He likes slow pets and loves to play, and he would do best in a quiet, calmer home with a patient person/family.

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
Rodger Mac - approx 12 years (with foster)

Rodger Mac was found trapped under someone's home and unable to walk. We got him straight to the vet and he stayed for a few days so we could assess what was going on with him. We thought he was paralyzed, and weren't sure how his quality of life would be, but after a while in his foster home, he began to try and get up and walk around! He's still a little wobbly - but can get around just fine now, it's amazing! Rodger Mac can only eat pate soft food due to some regurgitation issues, and he is on a daily medication for hyperthyroidism, but he's such a good boy and after his recheck the vet said his levels looked great! Now that we've figured out what's going on with him, he is ready for a special forever home! Apply today to meet this sweet special guy!

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Rodger Mac!

Floofy Babies - approx 4 months (coming soon!)

Beetlejuice (orange male), Lydia (black and white female), Katniss (calico/tabby female), and Prim (calico female) are bottle babies from the same litter. Katniss and Prim were sick, and Prim ended up needing to be tube fed. When they got healthy they were reunited with Beetlejuice and Lydia. Beetlejuice is the quintessential orange boy. His foster family has nicknamed him Cheez-it, and often says that he is "no thoughts, just floof." He is equal parts independent and snuggly, and just wants to have a good time. Lydia is the sweetheart of the group and gives kisses and headbutts when she craves attention, which is anytime she is not playing or sleeping. Katniss and Prim are calico princesses-in -training. They are both sassy, independent, and playful. Because these cats are all still so young, they will need to go in pairs or have another young cat in the household to play with. All four kittens are great with other cats, dogs, and people of all ages, including young kids.

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
We are now accepting applications to meet the Floof Babies!
Goose- approx 10 years

Goose came to us with a group of other FIV+ kitties almost three years ago. Don’t let his age fool you though, this guy still thinks he’s a kitten. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and can be seen running around the cafe! After he gets that energy out, he does love to settle down and snuggle up for some chin scratches. He’s not a huge fan of other kitties but doesn’t seem to mind them as long as them give him his space. He’s a handsome good boy who’s really sweet once you get to know him! He is toothless, and FIV positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a full and happy life (you can read more about FIV here).

Adoption Fee: $80
Grandpa T - approx 16 years

Grandpa T (aka Pa T or Gramps) is a sweet senior fellow who came to us from another rescue after he was relinquished because his family was moving... this guy needs a second chance at a real forever home! He likes head scritches and will give you kisses and head butts when he's happy! On occasion, he likes using your shoulders as his own personal cat tree. He can often be found on the top of the cat perch by the desk in the cafe. He has claimed it as his own and is not afraid to tell the other kitties to move out of his spot! He can get overstimulated with too much activity or attention, but he'll tell you when he's had enough. Gramps tolerates other cats at the cafe as long as they give him space, but he would like love to have a home all to himself. He would do best in a quiet home without small children. Gramps is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that doesn't affect his day to day life!

Adoption Fee: $80 each

Creme Brulee - approx 1 year

Creme Brulee was pulled from the shelter when she tested positive for FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that doesn't affect her day to day life! This sweet girl is probably only about a year old. She may be a little shy at first but loves people attention.

Adoption Fee: $150
Oprah - approx 1 year

Oprah is a foster friend who is FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here) but that doesn't affect her day to day life! She is sassy and likes people food! She has experience with small dogs and does fine with them and tolerates other cats, although she's a bit aloof. She does seek out human pets and likes to hang around with her foster mama.

Adoption Fee: $100
 Fluffy - approx 3 years

In the year that they have been at the cafe, Jake (grey tabby, ADOPTED) and Fluffy (grey/white, M) have become more comfortable and we have been able to see a little more of their personalities. Both Jake and Fluffy are pretty chill guys who love to snuggle and play. Fluffy can often be found with his best bud James Bean (also up for adoption!) snuggled up next to him or following him around. Fluffy would do well in a quiet home with a buddy where he can be comfortable, he just needs somebody to give him a chance!

Adoption Fee: $80
Earl Gray - approx 1 year

Earl Gray was a local stray that hung out in a neighborhood until he was injured and needed medical care. His injury was old luckily and healed quickly. He has been hanging out in foster and is a sweet sassy boy. Seems to get along with other cats and small dogs. May be slightly more dominant when he is comfortable in a home.

Adoption Fee: $100
The Biker Beans - approx 9 months

The biker babies came to us when a good Samaritan found one of the babies by herself in a parking lot at just a few days old. We went out and got the rest of her family—including mama!—from where their smart mama had hidden them from the elements inside the cover of an unused motorcycle. Tesla (black, white chin & mustache, F) was the first baby we got and the most independent, if a bit shy. Tes likes a good comfy bed and snuggling with her siblings. Mustang (black, white chin, F) is sassy and the more outgoing of the two sisters. Stang is equally happy to snuggle or play depending on what the mood in the foster room is. Bentley (B&W, nose freckle, M) is the biggest ham. He needs all of the attention all the time, and he’s not the least bit shy asking for it. Cadillac (B&W, M) is the troublemaker of the group. Even when he crawls under the blanket to snuggle, Caddy always wants to chew on toes instead of cuddling calmly. Royce (B&W, M) is the mama’s boy, typically preferring to follow Mama Harley and snuggle with her even when she wants her space! They’d love to find homes with kitty friends to snuggle pile with!

Adoption Fee: $150 each/ 2 for $250
Brownie - approx 1 year

Born to Mama Cocoa, Brownie and his siblings (all adopted!) are sweet, very outgoing and playful, and love getting attention from their humans. They love string toys and tiny toys they can chase around! When they're finished playing, they love to settle down for a good snuggle. Brownie is the cuddliest of all! He loves nothing more than to curl up in someone's lap and get pets all day!

Adoption Fee: $100
Hector - approx 4 years

Hector was pulled from the shelter after he tested FIV positive (you can read more about FIV here). This guy came to the shelter as an owner release when the person had too many cats. He is as playful as a kitten but also a good napper. After several antibiotics, x-rays and a sinus flush with culture we believe he has chronic rhinitis. Which means he sneezes and routinely has boogers. An inconvenience but not a reason for him to to not find a forever home. He is a sweet boy. Loves his cat friends of any age, non-dominant and likes the small dogs in his foster.

Adoption Fee: $100
Dandelion & Lotus- approx 1 year

Dandelion and Lotus are very cuddly and can often be found snuggled together or getting pets. They love to play, and they mellow each other out when it's time for cuddles! Dandelion is more outgoing but Lotus is getting there.

Adoption Fee: $100
Ellie- approx 6 months (with foster)

Eleanor Roosevelt and Elle Fanning set the bar pretty high, but Ellie is trying her hardest to meet it. She's a tiny girl because she's still a kitten, but she's everything you'd expect out of a kitten, plus extra sass because she's a calico! (Google "Tortitude", it's a thing!). She purrs when held and loves to cuddle. She absolutely adores toys and gets along well with other friendly cats. If there's something she doesn't like, she'll change her mind for a can of wet food. She lives in a home with large dogs, and several other cats. She does hide if the house is too busy or the dogs are too rambunctious, but otherwise she's a total love-bug.

Adoption Fee: $150
We are now accepting applications to meet Ellie!
Angel - approx 5 years (with foster)

If you take black and white photos of all your human children, Angel is already ready to go! As a black cat, she's prone to get passed over so I wanted to showcase how majestic this chubby black panther photographs. Angel plays with toys, cuddles, approaches people first, and her first love is food. She was abandoned at a house when her owners moved out, and knew terrors I may never know. She has no interest in ever going outside again, and has a hard time trusting other animals to be in her bubble, but she is ready to be a princess and your family's best friend.

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Angel!
Raul - approx 3 years (with foster)

Bachelor number 3, is Raul! Raul is looking for a home of his own as well. He came from the same home as Paulin, but has no attachments to him. He's even easier going than his friend, but a bit more playful. He's a really swell guy who adores cuddling, and just hanging out overall. He makes friends easily, but would prefer a house without too many rambunctious animals. He's an all around great cat that would do well in most homes!

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Raul!
Paulin - approx 3 years (with foster)

Paulin (name negotiable!), is a ham of a cat. He spends most of his time meowing at his people, following them around the house, and loving every cat he meets. He came from a home that was less than ideal and didn't take the best care of his needs. He's forgiven and forgotten though and is pretty low-maintenance. He just wants to be scratched (all the time, but only the correct way!), and be with his people always. He lives in a home with plenty of other cats and large dogs, and he's not too mindful of the dogs when they're quiet, and doesn't have a single cat enemy. He's pretty happy and easygoing as long as he gets attention when possible, has a clean box, and food.

Adoption Fee: $80
We are now accepting applications to meet Paulin!
Parker - approx 1 year (with foster)

This is Richard Parker (those of you who have read "The Life of Pi" will understand, if not, read it!)
Parker is a super affectionate boy who makes friends hard and fast with other cats, but is also very particular on who deserves to share his space. He tends to sway more towards kittens for friends and is a great "big brother" figure. He is extremely outgoing, friendly and cuddly. He follows his people everywhere, cuddles with them often and has no problem being persistent if he isn't getting what he needs. He's a couple years old and neutered, tested negative, and up for adoption with the help of the Kzoo Cat Cafe (I foster for this phenomenal rescue, but he lives with me!)
Parker also plays with toys and has no negative issues other than being a little pushy with some cat friends and he prefers not to be picked up too often(but who does?!)

Adoption Fee: $100
We are now accepting applications to meet Parker!
Freddie & Mercury - approx 10 years

These big ol' boys are Freddie & Mercury - they were unfortunately returned to the cafe after being adopted in 2019 due to the owners living situation changing. They are THE LITERAL SWEETEST boys... Nothing but headbutts, big purrs and biscuits with these two.  They have been through so much and would love to find a forever home together. They are both front declawed, and Mercury lost an eye a long time ago, but it doesn't slow him down at all! Consider these sweet loving boys for your fur family!

Adoption Fee: $100
The Citrus Babies - approx 1 year

The Citrus girls, Grapefruit (white/calico), Lime (orange w RBF) and Kumquat (orange tabby) were born to a feral mama but rescued when they were little, along with Yuzu and Lemon. Grapefruit is very outoing, and loves her foster doggie friends and loves getting attention from humans. Lime is very friendly, despite the look on her face, and does fine with the other cats and dogs in her foster home, although she prefers to do her own thing. Kuamquat is a cat's cat, loves her sisters and foster friends, and is fine with her foster doggies. She is a busy, playful girl! These girls would love to find calmer homes with friends for their forever home!

Adoption Fee: $100 each
